16m sailing yacht Cala d’Or

This 2-masted sailing yacht is a Nordia 45 Ketch ‘blue-water’ motorsailer, with a length of 16 metres and a beam of just under 4 metres. She is made of steel, has a solid hull and a magnificent teak deck. The long keel provides exceptional stability when sailing.

At the stern there is a teak platform with a loading capacity of 200 kg. This is lowered from deck level to half a metre below the water surface during swimming breaks, for example. This makes entry and exit as well as access to the water particularly easy and is also possible for guests with physical impairments. A freshwater shower at the stern of the sailing yacht can be used as desired after swimming in the sea.  On the aft deck there is a table for about 12 guests. If required, this can be covered with a sun sail.

The cockpit is protected all around, making even “landlubbers” feel very safe and comfortable on board. Teak benches with upholstery comfortably seat about 8 people. On the foredeck there is enough space for about 6 people to sunbathe.

The yacht is equipped with the latest technical standard and also offers the highest possible safety standard.

In accordance with the requirements of the British Maritime and Coastguard Agency, appropriate safety equipment is permanently carried on board. This ship has already crossed the Atlantic twice and has sailed many miles on the North Sea and Baltic Sea in addition to those in the Mediterranean.
